After continued interest in purchasing this design, we have decided to bring this back as a permanent piece to the Suzy Tamimi collection. Our first launch allowed us to donate over 4500 USD to PCRF and thousands more in direct aid to Palestinians on the ground in Gaza. Going forward, every three months, we will select a new charity working with Palestinian children to donate 100% of proceeds of this design for a period of three months (excluding taxes, applicable fees, costs, and labor). The aim is to maximize donations to different trusted charities working with children in a number of areas, whether it is food, medical treatment, psychological support, education, or other critical areas. Our second round raised 2500 USD for Psychology Spa , a NGO providing free psychological support to Palestinian children in Bethlehem, Palestine. Up until August 31, 2024, we will be donating all proceeds of the sale from this design to the Ghassan Abu Sitta Children’s Fund. We first got to know Dr. Abu Sitta in the first months of this genocide as one of the Plastic and Reconstructive physicians treating patients in the ERs of Al-Shifa Hospital and Ahly Baptist Hospital. He stayed in Gaza for several months treating patients daily before returning to the UK. Dr. Abu-Sitta continues to advocate on behalf of Palestinians from the UK where he was recently elected as Rector of the University of Glasgow and through the Ghassan Abu Sitta Fund. The Fund is dedicated to the children of Gaza: providing medical attention to the children who need it the most and helping to relieve the medical sector in Gaza.The first initiative for the Fund, under the expert guidance of Dr. Ghassan Abu Sittah, is the transportation of critically injured children with their caretakers from Palestine to Lebanon, where they can receive the best possible medical, psychological, and social care, before returning home to Palestine where they will continue their recovery. By treating the children in Lebanon, the Fund not only offers them exceptional care and access to top medical advances, but also helps to relieve the medical sector in occupied Palestine.
